Negotiations instead of court: how businesses resolve disputes faster and more efficiently
Negotiations remain one of the key tools for resolving business disputes and, in many cases, allow parties to achieve results faster and more efficiently than through litigation. The law explicitly permits the use of conciliatory procedures; however, in practice, negotiations form their foundation and often precede any formal process.
Unlike court proceedings, negotiations provide greater flexibility, allow parties to take commercial interests into account, and help preserve business relationships, which is especially important for long-term cooperation. Despite the absence of a clear legal definition, they effectively occupy a central place among alternative dispute resolution methods.
