The Middle East is becoming a key direction for international business — and the numbers prove it
At Tenzor Consulting Group, we are seeing this trend directly through our client work.
This year, clients have approached us with requests related to the UAE, including comprehensive legal and operational support, corporate bank account opening and ongoing assistance with business activities in the region.
At the same time, the flow is going both ways: Russian businesses are increasingly looking at the UAE as a market for expansion, while companies from the Gulf are also exploring opportunities in Russia.
According to official UAE sources, by the end of 2025 more than 13,500 companies established by Russian citizens were registered in the UAE, with around 2,000 new business licences issued during the year.
Russian investments in the UAE exceed $25 billion, while bilateral trade reached approximately $12 billion in 2025.
For us, the Middle East is broader than the UAE alone. We are also developing relationships and projects in Qatar and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and we increasingly see the region as a separate strategic direction for cross-border business.
